A Romantic Arthouse Novella

Even the brightest burn out...

An allegorical deep dive into the unrelenting throes of pop star duality and horrors of fame, or: the rehumanization of Taylor Swift, deconstructed, and isolated from predatory media.GHOST OF LOS ANGELES is the story of Scarlet Alison, a troubled singer/songwriter trapped in an abusive relationship with actor Adam Klein. A particularly violent outburst forces Scarlet cross country to the once shared home of her previous lover, Darshana Kaur, an empathic lyricist pining for Scarlet in silence. Volatile emotions from the tragedy of their mutual past do little to hold back the rekindling of their romance. Adam's ceaseless obsession, however, leads him to follow, and torment the born again couple in an attempt to regain full control over an already fragile Scarlet.Ego death in the form of a nightmare triggers a positive shift in Scarlet's perception, while the reluctant enlistment of fatherly detective Desmond Forrester delays further catastrophe. Meanwhile, Adam, descending further into mania, continues to watch from a distance, planning his final move.
